HSI Early College Dual Enrollment
HSI Early College Program
The Hispanic Serving Institution Early College Program (HSI-ECP) is a Dual Enrollment program with Sacramento City College (SCC) that allows eligible high school students to:
- Enroll in community college courses
- Earn college and high school credit at the same time
- Be exempt from tuition and enrollment fees (FREE COLLEGE!)
- Have access to FREE textbooks
Students choose from a specific list of courses and students must have a free period for each dual enrollment course they'd like to take.

Application Deadline
Summer 2026: Fri, April 10th at 3:30 p.m.
Fall 2026: Fri, May 29th at 3:30 p.m.
Students receive access to designated college counselors, student support specialists, college success workshops, closed courses with SCC, tutoring and writing center, and access to SCC student services. We encourage all students WHO HAVE A FREE PERIOD to apply for this amazing program!

*In order for your application to be considered complete, you must have informed Ms. Strand of your application & course choice, and your Special Admit Form and/or supplemental application must have been approved by the Sac City Admissions Office.
