For the third year in a row, Da Vinci Psychology students have been honored by the California Directing Change Program and Film Contest! The annual contest challenges student teams across the state to create 60 second Public Service Announcements to inform their peers about either Suicide Prevention or Mental Health Issues (
directingchange.org). This year three of our teams received Honorable Mentions for their chosen categories. Students will be receiving certificates and a monetary award as well being featured on the
Directing Change website. Congratulations to Abbie Allen, Bradly Shaw, Jakob Smith, and Zahra Baxi for their film,
Reach Out, Save a Life, in the Suicide Prevention category; Lorelei Krebs, Shaun E, Noah Chambers, and Alyssa Lozano for their film,
Overflow, in the Animated Short category; and Garrett Milner, Kendall Ireland-Tran, Benjamin Silver, and Nico Skow for their film,
My Mask, in the Mental Health Matters category. We are so proud of all of our Psychology students for their thoughtful film submissions this year!
