Post Secondary Education Night for Juniors and Families is Wednesday, March 8th at 6:00 p.m. by Zoom.

We dedicated our new building at DVHS in honor of the founding principal, Ms. Pamela Mari. It was an inspiring ceremony.

The Cash for College Virtual Workshop is Tuesday, November 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. by Zoom.

Sign up for PSAT by Monday, September 12th. Da Vinci Charter Academy will administer the PSAT/NMQST on Saturday, October 15 at 8:00 a.m. DJUSD is sponsoring the PSAT and no payment is required.

Registration Day is Friday, August 19th in the Da Vinci Tech Hub from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

On Saturday, April 16th, Da Vinci will host our annual Chili Cook-Off from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Featuring friendly competition and a wide array of chilis, this fundraiser will raise money for our end-of-the-year celebration, Da Vinci Day.

This was a very exciting and productive semester for our CTE pathways! Our new courses launched successfully and the students have been enjoying the content, classroom environment, and career focus.

Da Vinci High will be on an alternate schedule January 19th and 20th due to i-Ready assessments.

The Da Vinci AP Exam Schedule has been updated. In order to respond to the changing needs of our community, we are REOPENING AP Test Purchase though Thursday, March 11th at 11:59 pm.

The arrival of March 1st means that Black History Month has concluded and Women’s History Month has launched. With this transition in mind, the Da Vinci High School Black Student Union (BSU) would like to bring attention to these two important opportunities to recognize these two groups.

The Da Vinci High School Tech Hub Bond Project includes several exciting aspects, including a newly constructed multipurpose room, a STEM lab, P.E. locker rooms, and a new science lab. Additional renovations will include an expanded parking lot, front office renovations and campus landscaping. Anticipated project completion is Summer 2022.

Da Vinci Charter Academy will administer the PSAT/NMQST on Tuesday, January 26th at 8:00 am. The PSAT/NMSQT is a standardized assessment taken as preparation for the SAT. For juniors, the PSAT/NMSQT is also a scholarship competition.

You are invited to participate in the DSHS/DVCA virtual Cash for College workshop on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m. At the workshop, you will receive help completing your FAFSA or Dream Act application from financial aid professionals.

Following a recent message we sent about tests designed and managed through the College Board, this letter is to provide you with new information regarding SAT testing.

Each year, DJUSD prepares for the administration of tests designed and managed through the College Board, which include the PSAT/NMSQT, SAT and AP tests. At this time, the College Board has no plan to provide alternatives to in-person testing for the PSAT or SAT.

The DVHS and DVJH offices will be open with limited staff and limited hours through Friday, June 26th and then will close for the summer. Each office will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The school year is rapidly coming to a close and DVHS needs to collect textbooks, novels, DVCA-issued Dell laptops and chargers, DVCA or DJUSD-issued Chromebooks and chargers, and district-issued Wi-Fi hotspots Friday, June 12th.

Da Vinci Seniors and families, this is certainly not the second semester any of us expected or wanted. Throughout this crisis, you and your families have continued to demonstrate the kindness, flexibility, and general positivity for which your class is known. While words in a letter are not nearly sufficient for the gravity of what you are enduring, we still want to share that we care for each of you deeply and are incredibly proud to call you our beloved Da Vinci Senior Class of 2020.
