Dino's Tips for Finals! 
Dino

  • Prepare for your final
    • Know what day and time your final is, study, find out what supplies you need for the final and don't forget your charger, study, know how much the grade counts towards your final grade, and finally don't forget to study. Student studying for finals
  • Go easy on the caffeine
    • A little bit of energy can help, but too much can negatively impact your ability to focus and increase your anxiety. 
  • Eat healthy
    • Not only should you eat well before the exam, you should also be eating healthy the days leading up to your final. Your body will thank you later. Also, don't forget to stay hydrated!
  • ZZZ - Get some sleep
    • Staying up late to cram in study hours is one of the worst things you can do the night before an exam. Make sure to get plenty of sleep every night leading up to your final. 
  • Breathe
    • Before, during, and after your exam inhale for 3 seconds through your nose and exhale for 4 seconds out your mouth and repeat at least 5 times. Breathing helps to calm your brain making it easier to focus on your final. 
  • Reward yourself! 
    • You're finally done and it's winter break! Treat yourself to something you enjoy!
